Peace Library System has many types of materials that it loans on request to libraries to supplement their own collections on a temporary basis. The items are lent in blocks or kits as a single unit. For more information, please contact Duncan Lotoski at dlotoski@peacelibrarysystem.ab.ca. Programming Kits are available to PLS member libraries to borrow for a 3 week loan period.
To place a request on a kit or block please:
1. Check the availability of preferred Kit/Block with the TRACKING SHEETS
2. Place your request, using this GOOGLE FORM
Submitted forms will be sent to Barb (bjohnson@peacelibrarysystem.ab.ca) and Duncan (dlotoski@peacelibrarysystem.ab.ca).
You will receive a confirmation email with the confirmed lending dates and additional resources, specific to your request.

This kit includes everything you need to run a successful Dungeons & Dragons campaign.
Contents: Dungeon Master's Guide, Monster Manual, Dungeon Master's Screen, Player's Handbook (X6), Campaign books (ghosts of Saltmarsh, Tales from the Yawning Portal, Curse of Strahd), Character Sheets, Die Sets (X&), and Water-Soluble Pens.

The Button Maker kit has the equipment for creating 3 different sizes of button. Small (1") Medium (1 1/2") Large (2 1/4"). When requesting the kit, please note which size you would like. Supplies for 50 buttons will be sent with matching equipment.
The Coding for Early Learners kit is intended for ages 2-12. Included in the kits are toys, tech, and games to introduce basic coding concepts.
Contents: Turing Tumble, Snap Circuits Pro, Coding Critters (Skye the Unicorn and Blazer the Dragon), Code and Go Bumblebee, and LittleCodr Card Game.
The Lego Creations kit includes the Lego Mindstorms Robot Inventor pieces and 1 iPad. The kit includes materials to create 1 robot at a time. Materials for stop motion video projects have also been included.
The Audio Technology Kit includes tech and tech accessories for audio-based programming. This might include podcasting, oral history projects, interviews, streaming, and making music.
Contents include: Yeti USB Microphone, Sound Isolation Box, Pop Filter, Headphone Splitter, Headphones (X2), Zoom H1n Handy Recorder, Rechargeable Batteries.
Resources
The Video Technology Kit includes tech and tech accessories for video-based programming. This might include making movies, streaming, social media content, green screen projects, and photography.
Contents include: Green Screen (10 X 15) and stand, Ring Light, Mobile Device Tripod, Webcam, Gaming Headset
