Peace Library System is pleased to announce that Ancestry Library Edition is now available for PLS member libraries! Certified Professional Bookkeeper – and Northern Lakes College instructor – Heather Lyon will present these webinars. We will be sending a poster out to each library to highlight the courses. Due to enhanced budgeting for training in 2014, PLS is able to offer the Northern Lakes College courses to you free of charge. We are treating this as a pilot run, and if it is successful, we will consider budgeting to extend the Northern Lakes College partnership into the future.

  • There is a maximum of 20 participants per course. Due to the cap, we may have to limit registration to two participants from each library (whether board or staff).
  • Board members and library staff are invited to take the courses.
  • Please register on our website and PLS will then forward your name and email to Northern Lakes College. They will then email you their link to finalize the registration.
  • Both parts (each part is two hours) are necessary to complete a course. Once you have registered, if you discover you cannot attend one of the parts of the course, you will have access through a personalized link to the recording of that part.
  • A certificate will be issued by Northern Lakes College upon completion.
  • Each person, whether staff or board, must register in order to have access to the recordings and to get the certificate.
