Advocacy Starts With You. Presented by Margaret Law.
Advocacy seems like a daunting task for already busy library staff.  This session explores individual roles in advocacy, including how, when and where to talk about the library.  Advocacy skills require tailoring the message to the person, and participants will have the opportunity to practice tailoring the library's message for different audiences. Specific advocacy issues about funding, staffing and space will be addressed.
