2023 Go Places with Your Library [Activity]

Visit participating Peace Library System libraries for a chance to win this October! To celebrate Canadian Library Month we’re hosting a Barbie-inspired scavenger hunt. Find all 12 of the postcards hidden around your library to get entered into the prize draw. Visit our website to learn more and to get a personalized Barbie-themed Library Card.

2022 Passport to the Peace [Activity]

October is Library Month in Canada and to celebrate Peace Library System is running the Passport To Peace Library System program. Over the month of October you can collect stamps by visiting 46 of our member libraries as well as taking advantage of your local library services. Every two stamps is equal to one entry into our Grande Prize Draw so the more stamps you get, the better chance you have to win! There is also a prize for the individual that visited the most member libraries during the program. If there is a tie the winner will be chosen by a draw. This program is open to everyone age five and over and will run from Saturday October 1st, 2022 until Monday October 31st, 2022. To be eligible for prizes your passport must be summitted to a member library by October 31st.

Past Campaigns

As part of our 2016-2018 Plan of Service, member libraries told us that they needed help to reach out and attract new library users. We worked with a local company called nine10 Inc. to develop a series of campaigns to promote public libraries across the region.

2019

Save Money. Use Your Library

The fall 2019 Peace Library System ‘Save Money. Use Your Library’ campaign focused on getting people into their public libraries to learn more about what libraries have to offer, and to learn how much money they can save by using their library.

Explore Your Library

The fall 2018 Peace Library System ‘Explore’ campaign focused on getting people into their public libraries to learn more about what libraries have to offer, and to reward explorers with a chance to win one of two $250 gift cards of their choice. The contest ended in October 2018.

No Walls

The message for the winter 2018 Peace Library System marketing campaign was '#NOWALLS'! We wanted all ages to know what their local public library has to offer beyond what can be found within the library's physical walls.

nine10 developed a series of graphics and ads which libraries can use at any time of the year, not tied to a particular marketing campaign. These graphics promote three ideas of what patrons can do in a library: Share, Collaborate, and Grow.
