Over 140 school and public librarians, and library trustees from around northwestern Alberta, parts of northern B.C. and the Northwest Territories are expected to attend the 2011 Rural Libraries Conference.
  
The conference is being held in the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites which features 10,000 square feet of meeting space, the latest audio visual equipment, high speed Internet, spa, fitness centre, and underground parking.

Vendor Details 

This year marks Peace Library System’s 25th anniversary. To celebrate, an evening reception is taking place at the Holiday Inn on Wednesday, September 21 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. You are invited to attend the formal program with speakers and dignitaries, which will be followed by an opportunity for guests to mingle, network and visit your tables. Light refreshments will be served.

Due to the anniversary reception, conference set up time is Wednesday, September 21 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm and Thursday, September 22 from 7:00 to 8:00 am. Those that choose to set up prior to the reception should only do so if they are able to tend to their tables following the formal portion of the evening. If you would like to set up the Wednesday evening but are unable to attend the reception, Peace Library System and/or the Holiday Inn will not be held responsible for your property.

Official vendor hours are 8:00 am until 5:00 pm on Thursday, September 22, and 8:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, September 23.

The conference also features a Vendor Reception on Thursday from 4:00 to 5:00 pm during which no sessions are scheduled to allow more time for vendors and delegates to meet. The reception will feature an opportunity for vendors to introduce themselves and door prize giveaways.
