Peace Library System - Plan of Service
As required by library legislation, the Peace Library System submits a Plan of Service - goals, objectives and action plans - to the Public Library Services Branch every three years.
In 2009, the Plan of Service Committee chose to assess regional library service needs by distributing a short survey to library boards and following up with three regional forums. A survey was also sent to school division superintendents and individual school principals. The data gathered through these sources formed the basis for Plan of Service 2010-2012. It incorporates the priorities indentified by member library bords, and outlines the ways in which the Peace Library System will respond to its members' needs and achieve its mission in the next three years.
Priority areas of service for 2010-2012 include:

- IT Services
- Advocacy
